Five letters, just above the keys.

Yet through every moment you spend at the piano,

the name has quietly been by your side.

And one day,

when your piano finds its way into someone else's hands,

the name will continue to be there.

Just as it has been for generations before.

And for generations to come.

The "Piano no Tane" Project Emblem

What is the “Piano no Tane” Project?

"How would a piano bring color to your world?"
As part of its 100th anniversary celebrations, Kawai Musical Instruments Manufacturing Co., Ltd. launched a special project to express its gratitude for the past and its hopes for the future by donating 100 brand-new upright pianos to kindergartens, nursery schools, and certified childcare centers across Japan.

We hope to help children develop rich sensitivity and creativity by giving them the opportunity to experience authentic musical instruments from an early age. It is our sincere wish that the seeds of music nurtured through Kawai pianos will blossom into joyful smiles and vibrant everyday lives for the children who will shape the future.
